Our Mission

Keren Ezras Shabbos (KES) is a non-profit, volunteer organization assisting poor families throughout Israel. For well over two decades, KES has established a reputation of answering the needs of those in Israel, who quite simply, have nowhere else to turn. During this relatively short period, KES has enriched the lives of thousands with the happiness and joy that result from the tranquility of Shabbos.

Our Vision

To build a better life for children, families, and the elderly who require our services.

What's Happening

After touring our website, we realize certain limitations still exist on understanding what we are all about. With tourists returning to the land of milk and honey, we welcome those visiting Yerushalayim to contact our office and make an appointment to meet with one of our Rabbis. Many have cherished memories of the dynamic and powerful message Keren Ezras Shabbos has to offer. You owe it to yourself to experience Israel in a different light; take the time to hear the sobering stories of those who live in real poverty.
